Welcome to a joint conference of the Central Virginia Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors.

(CVASHI and HRASHI invite you to their very first joint educational conference. Join us live or virtually on Saturday, April 23, 2022 when William Kibbel III will speak about inspecting historic buildings. Bill will present from historic Williamsburg, Virginia at Great Wolf Lodge.

 Bill has been a building inspector for 35 years and has inspected well over 14,000 residential and commercial buildings between 100 and 350 years old. Bill has also been contracted by historic architecture review boards, building contractors, architects, engineers, facilities managers, municipal building departments, firemarshals and historic preservation professionals to advise on specific historicbuilding issues. He has served on the Board of Directors of a public historic site and has been a consultant to historic sites to several. An expert in historic building materials and methods, he has had over 80 articles published in national and regional publications about historic buildings and home inspections. He is a popular and frequent speaker at conferences and educational seminars for inspectors and preservation professionals. For over 2 decades, he has been invited and approved to present at over 40 events in 11 States. There could not be a better place to hear Bill speak on Historic Buildings than Williamsburg, Virginia.

This event will earn as much as 6 continuing education credits for Virginia Licensed Home Inspectors and members of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. We are seeking credits for ASHI and the State of Maryland.

The live event is $149.00 and includes lunch.

Virtual attendance is $99.00.  

If you can't attend live or virtually, we have a third option that will get you the handouts package, a chance to get one of the great door prizes we're giving away (without actually having to attend live or virtually) and a way to support future joint chapter events.The fee for this is $50.00.
