2023 Women's and Men's Adult Medical Symposium

Please join us as we raise awareness of bleeding disorders and health inequity in support of our adult Women and Men during the "National Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month". Join our bleeding disorders community men and women for an adult weekend retreat in beautiful downtown Greenville where we will have fun connecting and engaging.

Learn about how to advocate for women and men's health care needs; learn about new threatment therapies, including the basics about the exciting gene therapy; we will be providing support for our VWD and the Ultra Rare community; join us as we engage in mental health awareness and support; enjoy Greenville activities like Group Therapy in Camperdown and Top Golf;  and so much more. Enjoy food and fellowship in a supportive environment. Limited space is available. Applictions are not confirmed until all applications are in. (Must also be received before the deadline date.) We can't wait to get us all together without the distractions of everyday life and allow for time to connect and engage with others in the community as we learn. No childcare will be provided, and children are not invited to attend. We hope you can make arrangements to come and enjoy some time away from the kids. We will have sessions for all to enjoy together, and also will separate sessions for women and men to connect and learn alone. Two retreats in one venue is our goal!

This event is intended for adult men and women, ages 21 years and above, who have a bleeding disorder themselves, are spouses, partners, or caregivers of someone in your immediate household who is diagnosed with a bleeding disorder. We are also including symptomatic carriers & carriers of a bleeding disorder.
