Join early childhood art educator and author, MaryAnn F. Kohl, for an evening of hands-on art activities and an exciting PowerPoint filled with children's original artworks. MaryAnn will talk about how art and crafts are different, what role they play in a child's early education and much more!
Note: Bring an apron.
Presenter: MaryAnn Kohl. MaryAnn is the award-winning author of more than 20 books about art for children. Her background includes teaching elementary school grades kindergarten through grade two, preschool, ECE college art classes, and adult classes on creativity, writing and publishing. She has been a consultant for The Jim Henson Company, Fisher-Price, Blue’s Clues and Nickelodeon and writes for numerous magazines, blogs, and journals. MaryAnn lives in Bellingham, Washington.
