Please join VolunteerConnect and Marge Smith to discuss Empowering Leadership - ways to create a positive climate of inclusion, respect and appreciation. This workshop will present tools and techniques you can use immediately to empower your group to become an even more effective team and enable individuals to be more motivated and happier as they each play a part in accomplishing the mission.
Marge Smith has served in many leadership capacities in the nonprofit world. She has been an Executive Director of the Princeton YWCA, President of 9 different nonprofit Boards, and continues to consult on a national and local level. She is founder and chair of Princeton Community Works.
www.princetoncommunityworks.org , a conference for over 500 people held at Princeton University totally run by volunteers and recently was acknowledged as the 2nd best nonprofit conference in the country. She also teaches Fundamentals of Nonprofit Management and Emotional Intelligence at MCCC. Most recently, Marge
with several other associates has launched a website: TEAM@THEHAPPIERNONPROFIT.com. She believes that each person has something to offer and by playing individual's strengths towards meaningful goals, everyone succeeds.
