Plant Natives 2023! Native Plant Symposium

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. Tickets can still be purchased at the door!

 

As part of Plant Natives 2023! the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones will be back in person for its annual native plant Symposium. 

Five outstanding speakers will provide presentations to educate and inspire home gardeners and landscape professionals:

  • Thomas Ranier, author of Planting in a Post-Wild World.
  • Janisse Ray, author of Ecology of a Cracker Childhood.
  • Dr. Leslie Edwards, author of The Natural Communities of Georgia.
  • Dr. Kristen Wickert, social media educator and plant pathologist.
  • Adam Bigelow, owner operator of Bigelow's Botanical Excursions.

Saturday, March 18, 9:00am – 5:00pm (EST)

Registrants begin signing in at the registration tables at 8:00 am Eastern Time on the morning of March 12th at the UTC University Center, 2nd Floor Auditorium. Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the author(s). Lunch will be provided. We will be following UTC's policy regarding the Covid-19 requirements.

Tickets & Registration: 

Early registration discounts are available through March 13th.
$65 Wild Ones Members  |  $75 Non-members  |  $30 Students

 All registrations after March 13th will be $85.00.
Registration closes on March 15th at 5:00pm EST.

Please complete your registration online or at the registration tables on the morning of March 18th.

Registration Policy:  There is a non-refundable cancellation fee of $10, with the balance refunded if you cancel at least 7 calendar days before the event will be held.  If the Symposium is canceled by Wild Ones, registrants will receive a full refund.
