As part of Plant Natives 2023! the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones will be back in person for its annual native plant Symposium.
Five outstanding speakers will provide presentations to educate and inspire home gardeners and landscape professionals:
- Thomas Ranier, author of Planting in a Post-Wild World.
- Janisse Ray, author of Ecology of a Cracker Childhood.
- Dr. Leslie Edwards, author of The Natural Communities of Georgia.
- Dr. Kristen Wickert, social media educator and plant pathologist.
- Adam Bigelow, owner operator of Bigelow's Botanical Excursions.

Registrants begin signing in at the registration tables at 8:00 am Eastern Time on the morning of March 12th at the UTC University Center, 2nd Floor Auditorium. Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the author(s). Lunch will be provided. We will be following UTC's policy regarding the Covid-19 requirements.
Early registration discounts are available through March 13th.
