The conference is a deep dive into the cooperative business model and The Cooperative Principles that differentiate credit unions in the marketplace. 

In addition to the operating principles, attendees learn the social purpose of credit unions and how they benefit their communities. Additionally, the interactive conference format encourages dialogue and exchange of ideas and programs working to make a difference in the lives of credit union members. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of why credit unions are unique and more importantly, how credit unions are well suited to make a tangible impact on the lives of our members and the greater communities we serve.

Attendees will return to their credit unions with a greater appreciation for the Movement as a whole, as well as with ideas to help grow membership, understand and solve the specific needs of members, and increase loyalty.

 The Exploring the Why Conference appeals to a wide range of professionals, including:

Located at the El Monte Sagrado hotel in Taos, NM allows for modern day comforts in tranquil surroundings that will offer a stimulating learning enviornement. 

Hotel cost is $169.00 per night plus taxes and fees.

The registration cost of this event is $439, but discounts may apply. 

DIscounts available are:

• Credit unions under $100 million in assets receive a 10% discount, for a registration cost of $395 per person 
• Credit unions over $100 million in assets registering 3 or more attendees can use code 3ORMORE to receive a 5% discount, for a registration cost of $417 per person
