NeXXt Read: Imposter Syndrome
This installment of the NeXXt Read, where individuals read an article and emulate the “book club” model, will investigate the notion of Imposter Syndrome. For this session, we will consider the article, Unpacking Michelle Obama's Imposter Syndrome by Dr. Valerie Young, Ed.D., The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women: Why Capable People Suffer from Imposter Syndrome and How to Thrive in Spite of it.
Facilitated by Robyn Wolf, AIA, Melanie Lewis, AIA and Julia Weiss, Assoc. AIA. Attendees will explore how imposter feelings can develop, how these feelings can impact our daily job performance and career trajectory, and how to overcome it.
