Lunch & Learn: How Procore Facilitates the Construction Management Process

In this session, you will have an opportunity to understand and learn the functions and use for a Project Management Software tool through a General Contractors perspective. The tool that will be reviewed and discussed in this session will be Procore. The use of a Project Management Software tool in the industry is to work within real time submissions during the building process. Documentation is in the form of real time photos regarding progression of construction, material inspection and deliveries, punchlist walks, etc. We'll also be reviewing the process for receiving and issuing RFIs, Shop Submittals, Drawings, Dailey Logs, Reports, etc., that will speed up the building process.

Learning Objectives:

Attendees will understand how working in the cloud in real time can help catch problems in the field during construction before they become problems. Examples : receiving photos of existing conditions to viewing installation with the wrong door type being installed, to confirming accuracy of updated drawings, to collaboration with all disciplines to resolve an unforeseen site condition.
Attendees will learn to evaluate how a project management software can help them build a project more efficiently; as well as, the easy of documentation and project close-out.
Attendees will learn methods of communicating using one source where the approval process can be automated to help speed the process along.
Attendees will learn the best way to embrace technology and how that can assist the construction process.
