In what ways can art and architecture touch? How can a dialogue be created between buildings and occupants? Internationally renowned artist Sarah Oppenheimer explores this relationship in recent work. A collaborative work by Sarah Oppenheimer and Tony Cokes is on view at the AIA award-winning Transformer Station as a feature of this year’s FRONT International Triennial.

Join us for an in-person chat on July 16 at 10:00 am between artist Sarah Oppenheimer and John C. Williams AIA, the architect and designer of the Transformer Station, as they discuss Oppenheimer’s work and approach to the temporality of the built environment. Oppenheimer has exhibited internationally at venues including Mass MoCA, the Wexner Center for the Arts, Kunstmuseum Thun (Switzerland), Mudam (Luxembourg), and the Mattress Factory.
