Join us June 4 + 5, 2022 and dive deep into the TCM psycho-emotions with Dr. Yvonne Farrell!

In this 2 day seminar, dive into the nature and pathology of the Eight Extraordinary channels of acupuncture like never before, including psycho-emotional aspects of each system, enhance your learning through cases, techniques and practical supervision with Dr. Farrell.

Day 1 - Saturday June 4, 9am – 6pm:  The Eight Extraordinary Vessel approach to Sleep Disorders.

Participants will:

1. Participants will review and deepen their understanding of the biomedical theories underlying sleep disorders

2. Participants will review the common TCM patterns for Insomnia and correlate those patterns to an 8 Extra approach.

3. Participants will be able to diagnose and choose points for sleep disorders from the perspective of the 8EV and 5 spirits.

4. Participants will develop a more refined ability to diagnose and treat difficult patients.

Day 2 - Sunday June 5,  9am – 6pm: Case studies, Pulses and afternoon practical

Participants will:

1. Participants will be able to identify 8 basic pulses indicating 8 extra pathology.

2. Participants will create treatments for specific cases and explore how to adapt treatments for their own patients.

***pre-requisite: Pre-requisite: Eight Extraordinary Vessels Diagnosis and Treatment course, either through Red Tree Wellness Inc (Eight Extras 101) or Healthy Seminars. Proof of completion required. We also recommened Dr. Farrell's book Psycho-Emotional Pain and the Eight Extraordinary Vessels. The main pre-requisite Healthy seminars course LINK. This secondary pre-requisite Healthy Seminars course that will enhance the tools of the above starter course LINK.

$400 + GST  for 2 days, CEU's are 14.75 hours.

Dr. Farrell has been involved in helping others to restore balance in their lives for over 25 years.  In 1996, she graduated from Emperor’s College with a Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine. She has been in private practice since 1997. She was a member of the faculty at Emperor’s College for 13 years. In addition to her faculty duties at Emperor’s, Yvonne was also a clinical supervisor.  In 2007 Yvonne received her Doctoral Degree (DAOM) from Emperor’s College. Specializing in the use of the Secondary Vessels in treatment, Yvonne has been teaching channel theory to students for many years. A student Jeffrey Yuen, she has developed proficiency with the Eight Extraordinary Vessels system and has found they are very effective in the treatment of psycho-emotional and psycho-spiritual disorders. Dr. Farrell has been teaching CEU courses for several years. Her courses are lively, informative and clinically relevant. She is very passionate about the medicine and enjoys sharing this through her teaching. Dr. Farrell is the author of the book Psycho-emotional Pain and the Eight Extraordinary Vessels available on Amazon.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: For course withdrawals submitted in writing or in person 30 days or more before the start of the course, registrants will receive a full tuition refund less a $75 non-refundable registration fee. For course withdrawals submitted in writing or in person more than 14 days but less than 30 days before the start of the course, registrants will receive a 50% tuition refund. Without exception, no refunds will be given for course withdrawals less than 14 days before the start of the course, and after the course begins.
