Prior to the free film screening of A Girl Like Her, Ann Fessler will be at Elements Bistro for a meet and greet event. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments and meet this award winning filmmaker and author. A limited number of tickets are available. A cash bar will also be available.
Adoption's Hidden History begins at 7:00 p.m. in Main Classroom Auditorium, across the street from Elements Bistro.
Michael Schwarz Library in partnership with the Adoption Network Cleveland presents “Adoption’s Hidden History,” featuring the Cleveland debut of Ann Fessler’s documentary film, A GIRL LIKE HER, about women who surrendered their children to adoption in the 1950s and 1960s. Hear what they have to say about their experiences and the long-term impact on their lives.
