Jardine 1911 Performance and Maintenance Class 12/08/12 

The Jardine 1911 Class is with John Jardine of Jardine's Custom. John is one of the top 1911 pistolsmiths in the world, and was the brains behind the Valtro 1911, which has been described as "one of the finest handguns ever made".

The 1911 is a more complicated design than most guns, which is why it is a beautiful and extremely accurate work of art. Many of us own a 1911 or two (or three or five), and proper maintenance is the key to keeping your high performance pistol in top condition. Learn from the 1911 Master the history behind the 1911, how it is produced, and how to properly break down, clean, and maintain your 1911 pistol beyond the operator level.

During the course, you will disassemble your 1911 down to the frame, learn about the different parts and their function, how to clean and maintain them, and then how to reassemble your firearm.

NOTE: You must own a 1911 and know how to field strip down to operator level and reassemble. If you cannot do this, we strongly recommend taking our Introduction to the 1911 class, which will provide you with an outstanding base of knowledge to take into the Jardine class.

There is no live-fire in this class, so please do not  bring live ammunition into the classroom.
