Basic Pistol Course Sat. 12/15/2012 

Proper use of a firearm is skill that requires training and practice.  The good news is that the basic skills needed to be safe and hit your target at close distancecan be learned in just a few hours.

Bullseye USA's Training Division has a team of dedicated, professional instructors who can teach you the skills you need to gain that proficiency.  Our instructors are all U.S. Military, CA. P.O.S.T., and N.R.A.-certified instructors with extensive real-world experience in the topics covered.

At the end of the course, you will have the confidence and ability to safely handle and shoot a handgun.

OUR BASIC PISTOL COURSE COVERS:

• Safety:  The Four Commandments of Firearms Safety, safety in the home, and on the range.
• Demystifying the “Language of Firearms”:  Cartridges vs. bullets, caliber vs. millimeter, double action or single action, and other elements of the lexicon.
• The mechanics of Firearms Operation:  Parts of the pistol and revolver, how to load and unload them safely, and how they function.
• Selecting a Handgun that fits YOU:  Grip size, trigger span, recoil?  Working towards finding the right handgun for you and what you want to use it for.  Help with ammunition choices as well.
• The Fundementals of Proper Shooting:  Proper grip, stance, trigger control, and other essentials to achieving accuracy.
• Live-Fire on our range:  One-on-one coaching with your instructor while you fire the handgun of your choice, using the techniques and skills you learned in the classroom. 


Please bring valid government issued I.D. with you to this class, such as a state-issued driver's license, curretn Passport, military I.D., etc.  This is required to enter our range and participate in the live-fire.
