Morning Session: Your business plan is an organizing tool and a sales tool. It is a logical sequence, factual and concise! It is inspirational...but cool and clear. Without a business plan you risk losing your investment! This workshop gives you all the tools needed to plan your new business, including how to demonstrate the need for the product or service, show your chances of success, develop marketing & operations plans, estimate fixed expenses and capital purchases, and prepare a realistic, working cash flow forecast.

Session Break

Afternoon Session: Learn the facts about making a good first impression with your banker. It’s not easy during your first loan request meeting. Many people are turned down because they’re not prepared! But if you answer our 7 basic questions, you’ll present what every banker wants to hear. Preparation starts by checking your credit score. Then, learn the latest, updated banker’s “5-C” checklist. Guide your cash flow and capital purchase decisions using the Leasing Broker’s Buy/Lease Rule. Learn the SBA’s six basic requirements for a loan guarantee. Check your loan request against accepted loan criteria scoring parameters. Beware the most common “Red Flags.” Work out the details you need to know during the workshop Q&A session.

Raju graduated from the University of Miami, FL with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Finance.  He has over 30 years of experience in sales & marketing, operations and finance.  In 1988 he started a company that was ranked in the top 100 nationwide in the industry.  Raju has devoted the last 10 years to working with small businesses in facilitating financing for their business growth, as a consultant for their sales/marketing and operations, and as a turnaround professional. He has successfully restructured and helped small businesses obtain capital for their assets and operational needs.
