- Big Picture issues: how certification fits into Oregon efforts; goal of certification effort; CYC Movement video; development of the certification program by NACP, CYCCB, and ACYCP - updates on changes made; research base; integration of other certification programs into the CYCCB umbrella; requirements for 3 certification levels; who is using certification, strategies other organizations have used to implement and support certification, integration into COA standards, benefits of certification
10:30 - 10:45 Networking Break
10:45 - 11:45 Certification Process
- Overview of certification process taking group to CYCCB website to view process, resources, forms). This answers process and resources questions.
11:45 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 1:30 Breakout #1
- Participants are divided into 3 groups which rotate through the 3 breakout sessions

- Over view application form including: training documentation, supervisor assessment, colleague reference professional membership

- Discuss test prep, complete sample test questions
