Middle School Retreat 2012
The Office of Youth Ministry and the Diocesan Youth Council invite you to our annual Middle School Retreat!
Come enjoy the beautiful fall outdoors at our diocesan Camp and Conference Center, and meet youth and adults from all over the diocese! We will have small group workshops, indoor and outdoor games, worship that gets you both moving and thinking with the LIVE band Attaboy and above all else, time away from the stress of everyday life, so that we can pay a little more attention to the Spirit!
Amidst all this fun the adult chaperones will also have the opportunity to take part in a program on Working with Youth on the Autism Spectrum. This is a wonderful opportunity for youth workers to develop skills that will help improve their ministry.
Know that we don't want ANYTHING to stand in the way of youth taking part in this weekend. If money is an issue for youth or adults, scholarships are available. If you don't have a ride, we will help to figure out transportation. If you can't find an adult chaperone, we will work with you to supervision. Please contact Sam Gould ASAP (sgould@diomass.org) if anything is standing in your way and we can figure out how to make it work. If you want to go, you CAN!
Note: This retreat is open to youth in grades 6-8, as well as members of ongoing youth groups in 9th grade, and mature 5th graders. If you have questions about eligibility, please contact Sam Gould (sgould@diomass.org).
