Join us for Family Camp!
Come join us for a great experience for families of all kinds. The long weekend includes a mix of activities and free time. Just relax, or go swimming and boating. Spend some time with those closest to you discussing things that matter. Take advantage of some fun workshops for all ages. There is something for everyone!
REGISTRATION is Thursday, 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Please check in at the main office.
MEALS are always served in the Dining Hall – Breakfast at 8:00 am, Lunch at 12:00, and Dinner at 5:30 pm. Our program includes 8 meals: dinner on Thursday through breakfast on Sunday morning.
THREE HOUSING OPTIONS: Both cabins (sleeps 10-12 in bunks) and lodge rooms (2 beds- either 2 doubles or double and single- and private bath) are available for families. Some families choose to share a cabin with close friends or extended family members. If you choose to share a cabin with another family then the rates are the lowest. If a family chooses to have a cabin to themselves then the price is a little higher. Lodge rooms are also available for another fee.
For Family Camp, a "family" is defined as 1 or 2 adults and those under the age of 18 that they are responsible for.
SCHEDULE: Before dinner on Thursday and on Sunday morning, we offer a time of joyful and meaningful worship experiences for all ages. Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings after breakfast will be time for intergenerational learning and activities. Please join us for these times of learning, sharing, and experiencing God’s presence in community.
Saturday night after dinner we will be having an Un-talent Show. Families might like to plan a song to sing or perform a skit, play an instrument, tell some jokes, or do gymnastics. Actual talent is optional. We encourage anyone who wants to participate. All acts are welcome, so plan ahead and bring your untalent and any costumes or props you might need.
Check out, from the cabins or lodge rooms, is by 9:00 am on Sunday, with a program continuing until noon. We encourage families to continue with friends old and new by sharing lunch together in nearby Peterborough.
We look forward to our time together. If you have any other questions on the program, please call Amy Cook at 617-482-4826, ext. 645, or email at acook@diomass.org.
