If you are taking public transportation, the Cathedral is right across the street from the Park Street Station (RED Line, GREEN Line), 2 blocks from Downtown Crossing Station (ORANGE Line) and 4 blocks from Government Center Station (BLUE Line). South Station (MBTA Commuter Rail & AmTrak) is a 5 minute walk.

More than a program or curriculum, the Way of Love is an intentional commitment to follow Jesus by developing a Rule of Life using seven practices: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, Rest. 

At the event, learn how these practices can be used both individually and in a congregation’s life for formation, evangelism and discipleship and gain tools to apply them. Enjoy opportunities for peer-to-peer conversation, sharing and networking.

During the program, there will be interactive discussions about ways you might use the  Way of Love looking particularly to the practice as it relates to...

Formation – how the Way of Love rule of life can deepen our relationship with  Jesus

Evangelism – how the Way of Love can give us the tools to show others what it means to live a Jesus-centered life

Discipleship -  how the Way of Love can make us disciples of Jesus who make a difference in the world.

Bring a team from your parish with participants from the vestry, Sunday school teachers, stewardship committees, outreach and mission committees, youth leaders, parents, welcome committees, parish communicators, pastoral care teams, parish administrators, confirmation mentors, and education committees.  There is something for everyone and everyone is welcome!

COST:

  • $20.00 Event fee per person payable by check or by credit card. Congregations are encouraged to bring teams.
  • $15.00 Group registration OF 5 OR MORE from your congregation is available through this site. Register additional people by clicking the "Add" button.
