IPHCA works with the National Association of Community Health Centers to advance its federal agenda on the Hill. Advocacy efforts include directly lobbying members of Congress, working with executive branch officials and providing input on existing and proposed federal regulations affecting community health centers. IPHCA also plans and implements the Illinois delegation’s activities during the annual Policy and Issues (P & I) Conference in Washington, DC.
The P&I Forum is an opportunity for clinicians, board members, consumers, executives and other community health leaders to bring perspectives to Members of Congress and offer constructive solutions to the issues at hand.
