Lessons Learned from OMIC Malpractice Claims
Please join the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons for an evening with experts from the Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance Company (OMIC) as they provide you with the latest tips and strategies to ensure that you are providing the best care possible for your patients, while avoiding malpractice lawsuits.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 18 from 6:00-8:00 pm at La Merise in the Cherry Creek shopping district in Denver.
Program description
A medical malpractice claim is one of the most devastating personal experiences a physician will ever encounter. This course, featuring Denver attorney Greg Tiemeier (left) and Denver oculofacial plastic surgeon Robert Fante, MD, (right), will review several malpractice lawsuits against ophthalmologists, discuss the “lessons learned” and offer strategies to minimize the risk of a claim and its impact.
