Urban Plunge 

March 2 - 4, 2018

Cost: $115 (must pay online or pay cash directly to the Business Office - NO personal checks or credit cards will be accepted in the business office). If you are not accepted, the money will be credited to your FACTS account. Any cancellations prior to Feb. 9th will result in the loss of your non-refundable deposit of $35.  Cancellations after Feb. 9th will result in forfeiture of your entire trip cost of $115.

$35 is due with this online registration form by Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Your student must also return the full application and reference form to Ministry and Service by Wednesday, December 20, 2017.  The final payment of $80 is due by February 9, 2018. You can also choose to pay the full amount of $115 at this time.

Thank you for your interest in Chaminade Julienne's Urban Plunge retreat weekend from Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4, 2018. This trip is sponsored by the Ozanam Center for Service Learning (part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society) in Cincinnati. Most of the service will involve working directly with St. Vincent de Paul. We see this weekend plunge as a way we, as Christians, can grow in our faith by living out the Gospel values in responding to the needs of others, the need for service, and the need for justice. 

This retreat is open to students in grades 10, 11 and 12. A total of 10-12 students will be chosen.

To apply for the Urban Plunge Retreat:

  • All tuition payments, fees & obligations must be met and up to date with the Business Office. 
  • Fill out the application honestly and completely.
  • Give your reference form to one CJ adult (teacher, counselor, coach, moderator).
  • Return the full application and reference form to Ministry and Service and complete this online registration and payment by December 20, 2017.
