Tips to Keep Your Small Business Financially Healthy

Do you know how your financial record keeping and reporting can affect your business decisions? How your personal credit affects your ability to get capital? In this FREE workshop, you'll hear tips from several speakers that will help guide your small business towards solid financial ground.

All business owners have to balance costs but still invest in the future. These choices need to be informed by the financial numbers for the business so that you have a better shot at success.

This workshop will help you understand:

  • Common financial reports, what they tell you and why you should care
  • How to think about your cash flow, considering seasonal imbalances and expense planning
  • How your credit affects your finances
  • Available financial tools to help with the business decision making process
  • When (if) to consider additional capital

Registration begins at 9:00 am. The workshop begins promptly at 9:30 am. Walk-ins welcome.

Free parking is available on the CCSU campus (1615 Stanley Street, New Britain) at the Student Center Parking lot/ Student Center Garage located off Ella Grasso Blvd.   Once parked, our seminar will be in the Sprague/Carlton, a room just around the corner from the Information Desk in the Student Center. The entrance to the building is next to the Student Center Bookstore. (see http://www2.ccsu.edu/campusMap/ for an interactive map of the campus)
