Summit Artspace Summer Camp - MESSTIVAL!

How to describe what a “Messtival” is:

Do you remember the show “Double Dare” on Nickelodeon from when you were a kid? Didn’t you want to get slimed? Give your child the freedom to experience what it is to be truly messy. These fast obstacle course like games will not only test your child’s physical ability but also his/her creative spirit.

•Paint brush in mouth & paint a team mate’s face (while blindfolded)

•Fill a cup - teammate wears goggles & holds a cup - the other team member has a squeeze bottle of paint - first team to fill up a cup “wins”

•Giant abstract canvas (18 feet by 24 feet) - action art - throw paint, squeeze bottles, rollers, water balloons filled with paint, roll yourself onto the canvas, anything goes!

•Full on paint fight - throw paint at each other

•Powdered paint - similar to an Indian “Holi Festival”

Plus, we hose them down before you take them home! Cost of camp is $125.00

Schedule for the day: 9:00am - 3:00pm

All activites and lunch will be outdoors. There is no field trip to the museum this week.

*Pickup of campers is from 3:00 to 3:15. If you need your child to stay past this time, arrangements can be made, but there is an additional cost.

Paint will get everywhere - including clothes and shoes. Please have campers wear old items for this day in camp. Also, no flip-flops - safety first!
