This two-day training is on the evidence-based model for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH). With the policy change, CST providers are to provide ongoing, tenancy support services. This training will support CST providers by improving their understanding and practice of the PSH model.
Experienced and certified PSH trainers from The Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC) will facilitate the training.
Who should attend:
-CST staff members (15 hours of Tenancy Support Training must be completed within 90-days of hire) - this training meets that requirement
-LME-MCO staff (TCLI, Provider Network)
Priority will be given to those CST Team Members that require the training within 90-days of November 1, 2019 and/or 90-days from hire date of a CST team.
What will be covered:
-An overview of the history of the PSH model
-PSH core principles
-Benefits that individuals experience using PSH
-The three phases of tenancy (including key activities, assessments, goal development, barriers, and challenges)
-Overview of the CST PSH Implementation Assessment Tool

Other things to know:
-This is an interactive training. Attendees are expected to participate fully (laptops closed, no excessive cell phone use).
-Attendees must be present for the entire two (2) days of training to receive a certificate of completion
-If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, you will not receive credit
-No partial credit will be awarded
-Sessions will run 8:00am - 5:00pm, both days
-Please arrive by 7:45 AM in order to sign-in and get seated.
-There will be an hour break for lunch (lunch is on your own)
