Lunch Meeting - April 12, 2017

Please join us for the April 12th Gabriel Chapter Lunch Meeting at McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks in McLean, VA.  Our guest speaker will be Colonel Gerald F. Ryan, Jr., Deputy Commander of the Air Force Operations Group (AFOG), a Field Operating Agency providing comprehensive decision support  by facilitating immediate situational awareness of world-wide AF operations and integrating air and space operational expertise for the SECAF/CSAF.  The AFOG is responsible for the CSAF's Crisis Action Team (CAT) and executes plans for evacuation of US Government leaders ensuring the continued performance of HQ USAF mission essential functions and continuity of operations.  Col Ryan will be speaking on air and space operations and training challenges for the Air Force in a turbulent fiscal and National Security environment and the priorities of the SECAF and Chief of Staff for Airmen and their families.

Dress Code: Business, or uniform of the day for active duty

The menu includes a Caesar Salad, and a choice of Chicken Marsala, Simply Grilled Salmon, or Shrimp Scampi, and a dessert of Creme Brulee.

Price is $37 for Members Still Working, and $27 for Retired Members (no longer working).  There is no charge for active duty or government employees to attend.

An important notice about the pricing:  The Gabriel Chapter Team is committed to bringing the best speakers who will advocate for a dominant Air Force for our membership at our monthly luncheons and for a reasonable price.  This new venue at McCormick & Schmick's in McLean allows us to reduce the price of our meals.  Our latest prices are $37 for Members Still Working, and $27 for Retired Members (no longer working).  There is no charge for active duty or government employees to attend.  We continue to explore options to ensure we continue to bring interesting speakers to the Gabriel Chapter in forums that are affordable for our members and that advance the mission of the AFA.
