Have you ever taken a guided tour at a museum and thought, "I'd like to do that (be a tour guide)"?  Do you have a passion for aeronautics or space exploration?  Would you like to share your knowledge while learning more?  The AFA Gabriel Chapter wants to make you aware that the Smithsonian Institution's Air and Space Museum's Docent Program is looking for people like you to be volunteers.  They are currently accepting applications for their volunteer docent (tour guide) corps.  They aim to build a diverse team of men and women who can share their passion for aeronatics and space exploration with the millions of visitors who come through their doors each year from around the world.  For more information, see the link below.  

The Museum has two locations:  downtown Washington on the National Mall and at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA, near Dulles Airport.

The deadline for applications is June 7th.
