AFA Virginia State 4th Quarter Meeting and Roanoke AFA Chapter 285 4th Quarter Dinner

A block of rooms has been reserved and you can call the Holiday Inn Tanglewood directly at (540) 774-4400 to reserve and pay for your room. Make reservations by 1 October or rates will go up.The rateis $94 + tax. The hospitality room will be available to all on Friday and Saturday.

The Meeting Day will begin with a continental breakfast (in the meeting room) beginning at 8:15am and business meeting at 9am. The Social Hour before dinner will begin at 6pm with a special robotics demonstration by the Salem HS Spartan Robotics Team, who have won National Robotic Championships. The BBQ Buffet Dinner will begin at 7pm.

The BBQ Buffet dinner includes fried chicken, BBQ pork, lettuce salad, mashed potatoes,, mac & cheese, coleslaw and dessert. Contact Robin for special dietary needs. Our Guest Speaker will be Capt Hutcheson from the Danville Civil Air Patrol Sq who will discuss their drone program and how they are using them to execute the CAP mission.
