"Betrayal in Berlin: The Berlin Tunnel and the Mole in MI6"

& Cold War Museum Tour

Febrary 23, 2020

The AFA Gabriel Chapter wants to let you know about a presentation at our AFA Community Partner, the Cold War Museum.  The guest speaker is former Washington Post reporter Mr. Steve Vogel, who will speak about his new book Betrayal in Berlin and will describe his research and take questions.

Betrayal in Berlin tells the true story of the Berlin Tunnel, the audacious American-British Cold War operation to dig a tunnel into East Berlin to intercept Soviet secrets, and the operation's betryal by the dangerous British spy Geoge Blake.

Steve Vogel is a veteran journalist who reported for the Washington Post for more than two decades, writing frequently about the military.  He covered the fall of the Berlin Wall as well as military operations in Iraq, Somalia, Rwanda and the Balkans.  For more information about Steve and the book, see the link below.
