The AFA Langley Chapter is once again proud to present our annual Airpower Symposium and Salute to Team Langley. This year’s symposium will be a hybrid event -- virtual and in-person. Given the recently imposed DoD and 633rd Air Base Wing COVID-19 guidance, this format will offer the most participation while still complying with restrictions limiting the maximum room occupancy. We remain committed to providing an excellent opportunity for meaningful engagement between industry representatives and Air Combat Command’s leadership and staff. We are very grateful to our industry partners for the vital support they provide our local Airmen and their families. This symposium is our chapter’s primary annual fundraiser and enables us to sponsor a myriad of worthy endeavors. Some examples include providing meals for short-notice deploying airmen, presenting Pitsenbarger Scholarships and Distinguished Graduate awards for Airmen Leadership School graduates, purchasing unit quarterly/annual awards, and helping to offset some unit banquet costs for all five JBLE Wings. These funds also support local Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education opportunities such as five local Cyber Patriot teams and local STEM Teachers of the Year awards. We have also provided equipment and other support to multiple regional Civil Air Patrol squadrons and local AFJROTC programs. For these programs, we sincerely appreciate our industry partners’ consideration in securing one of our sponsorship packages listed below.
Due to the COVID-19 room occupancy restrictions, registration is required for all in-person attendees via corporate sponsorships or individual sign-ups. Virtual attendees are not limited in final numbers, but must also register so that we have contact information for the Zoom links.
