US Capital All-Girl Chess Camp: Learn Chess from US National Girl Champions 

One day All-Girl Chess Camp: Learn Chess from World Youth Girl Champion & US National Girl Champions! This is a special event, led by WGM Jennifer Yu (2014 World Youth Champion & 2019 US Women Champion), fully supported & organized by Phoenix Chess Club, "Girls Empower Girls" program to encourage more girls to play chess.

DESCRIPTION

  • Class & Workshops for k-12 girls at all levels.

  • Girls will be divided into different groups based on their skill levels.

- introduction course for beginners
- tactic training for intermediate players
- Puzzle contest & Game Analysis for advanced players
- make new friends and have fun

(G/30;d5, 4 rounds, 4 sections)

Advanced Entries

4 Sections: 
Champion (for USCF rating 1200+)
Advance (for USCF rating 800~1200), 
Intermediate (for USCF rating 400~800)
Beginner (for USCF rating 0~400)
  • Trophies to Top 3 players in each section.
  • Medals to all players 2.5 points and above
  • Top Age 6 & Under Prize
  • Top Unrated Prize
  • Top Upset Prize
  • Top Under 1100 Prize in Champion Section
  • Bonus Cash Prize for the top Winner in Champion Section.
