This 5 1/2 hr training provides training appropriate for individuals across multiple sectors and job titles and will highlight the foundations of becoming trauma informed, the prevalence of trauma, and how to promote resiliency.  After defining key terms, including stress, trauma and systemic oppression, we explore how trauma affects the success of social and emotional welbeing.

Participants will learn; how the brain is impacted by traumatic events and how those changes can affect how we learn and perceive the world, how to avoid retraumitizing individuals, and how developing a system of care and culture of awareness can lead to larger success.

This training costs $150 per person. Seats are limited, register today! If you can not make it on July 8 but would like to attend the next Becoming Trauma Informed training, add you name to this list, here.

For those individuals who are interested in furthering their Trauma Informed capabilities. We're offering a Train the Trainer opportunity directly after this foundational workshop.
