Mission Guyana 2016

Join Greater St. John Cathedral for a week of missions and ministry in Guyana, South America, October 15th-23rd, 2016. If you’ve been seeking God for an opportunity to enlarge your territory and grow your faith, then missions is the place for you.

You will spend the first 3 days of your journey in the capital city of Georgetown, situated on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Demarara River. While in Georgetown, you will visit local sites of cultural and historical interest. Visit Stabroek Market and stroll around the Guyana Botanical Gardens. Snap photos in all the tourist hot spots!

Then, you will travel down the Essequibo River to the small inland town of Bartica. During your stay in Bartica, you will join Bartica Baptist Church for 4 life changing days of outreach ministry- including visits to schools, children's dormitories, and a local prison.
