Seasoned and Savoring in the Spices of Life! - Older Americans Month Celebration 

We will celebrate some phenomenal OPALs (Older People with Active Lifestyles) and their unprecedented accomplishments. They are men and women in their 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. They include Gene Espy (88), the 2nd person ever to hike the full Appalachian Trail (AT); Ruth Gooden (77), the first African American female to hike the full AT, Alpha Bennett (78), a centennial and interstate cyclist, Camear Baxter (68) , an expert skier, Eddie Nelson (76), a body builder and all-around athlete, Gregory Matheson (55), a cyclist who has ridden the equivalent of 6 1/2 times around the earth, and others.
