TIMES: Check-in is 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday.  Departure is 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

LOCATION: Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center in Blackstone, VA

FEE: $115.00

ABOUT:Join teens from all over the diocese for a spring retreat at the Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center in Blackstone, VA!  The event includes a variety of activities and opportunities to make new friends and learn more about the church.  A special service for Palm Sunday and EYC Board elections will also take place during this weekend, as well as small groups, singing, socials, and so much more!

ACCOMODATIONS AND MEALS: Dorm rooms with private bath and linens provided.  All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday included.

ABOUT YOUTH EVENTS: Youth programs in the Episcopal Diocese of Southern of Southern Virginia are designed to offer a variety of opportunities for a diverse pool of youth.  All programs seek to form disciples of Jesus through worship, fellowship, education, service and wellness. 

Episcopal Youth Community: EYC is the usual name for youth groups in the Episcopal Church, both at the parish and diocesan levels.  In the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia, seasonal weekend retreats are offered for both Junior and Senior High youth.  These events are largely designed by the EYC Board, a group of Senior High youth who have been selected to serve as leaders in the community.  EYC weekends provide a special opportunity to make connections to the wider Episcopal Church in a welcoming, positive, energetic and faith-filled environment. 

Please register online, but be sure to bring completed and signed copies of the following forms with you to the weekend: Youth Ministry Community Covenant and Youth Event Registration and Permission Form (youth participants) or Adult Leader Information Form for Youth Events (adult advisors 18 and up).
