Religious Education Registration Most Precious Blood Parish

Dear Parents,

Welcome to our Grades 1-10 on-line registration. We look forward to providing a valuable Religious Education Program to our children and families in the fall. How we offer the program will depend on our ability to ensure the safety of our children, volunteers, and staff. In this regard, we are prepared to offer a remote faith formation program with the hope of returning to in person classes at a later time during the year.

Registration will begin on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 and will be available online only. You will be able to register and pay with a credit card/debit card through Most Precious Blood's PayPal account by simply clicking on the Register Now link below which will bring you to the registration page. Please note that you do not need your own PayPal account to register. You may also send a check to Most Precious Blood Parish. There is an additional administrative fee for paying by PayPal, please check off the correct box.

If your child is in Grade 2, 9 or 10 please check off the additional Sacramental fee.

Also, included on the form are volunteer opportunities. Please check off those that you are available for. All parents are asked to volunteer in some way.

Religious Education classes will begin the week of October 18th. While our program will begin remotely, classes for Grades 1-5 will continue to meet on Tuesday afternoons when we are able to return to on-site Religious Education. However, due to the new school start times beginning this fall, we will be modifying program meeting times. Grades 1,3,4,and 5 will meet from 2:30-3:30 PM and Grade 2 will meet from 3:45-4:45 PM. Please note that these times may need to be adjusted once school bus schedules have been decided. Class times will be confirmed in the fall.

There will be a meeting for parents of children enrolled in the Second Grade Sacramental Program. We will offer 2 dates for this meeting; Thursday, October 1 and Monday, October 5 from 7:00-8:00 PM. This meeting is for parents only and at least one parent from each family is required to attend one date.

There will be a 9th Grade Confirmation Preparation Retreat. Parents will be notified once the date and time have been confirmed.

There will be two Confirmation retreats. The first will be a parent/student retreat on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 PM. The second retreat will be in the spring and parents will be notified once the date and time have been confirmed. Both retreats are mandatory. Please mark your calendars to keep them free of any conflicts. Confirmation will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 5:30 PM at Most Precious Blood.

Given existing uncertainties, meeting locations and decisions as to whether we gather in person or virtually will be determined in the fall.

Please note that if your child is new to the Religious Education program and was not Baptized in our parish, you will need to provide us with a copy of the Baptismal Certificate when you register. No First Grade or new student registrations will be accepted without a Baptismal certificate.
