Urban Innovation: Exploring the Future of Buildings

Rebuilding our urban infrastructure means more than simply replacing old with new. It will require new ways to thinking about the design, performance and economics of the places where we live, work and play.

Join us for a presentation by Peter Richner, Deputy CEO and intellectual father of NEST at Empa and a panel discussion to discuss the future of innovative building technologies.

Moderated by Paul McManus, Lecturer in the Questrom School of Business, this event will feature panelists:

  • Michael Gevelber - Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, Boston University
  • Jason Jewhurst - Principal, Bruner / Cott Architects
  • Additional panelist pending

This event is co-hosted by the Boston University Initiative on Cities, the Boston University Institute for Sustainable Energy, Sustainability@BU, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

We look forward to hosting you on Tuesday, November 29th. Register now below!
