Moderator: Maria Thompson, Manager of Community Development Services, Third Federal Savings & Loan

This forum will update housing and community development practitioners on the latest trends in housing.  Frank Ford, Senior Policy Advisor with Western Reserve Land Conservancy, will provide an update as of December 31, 2016 on mortgage foreclosure, vacant property and median home sale trends at the county, neighborhood and suburb level.

Kyle Fee, Regional Community Development Advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland will discuss mortgage lending trends in Cuyahoga County from 1994 to 2015.  His presentation is based on an analysis of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data (HMDA ) and will cover trends in mortgage applications, originations, origination rates and average loan amounts across  income and geography within the county.
