CAT Squared Webinar on Blockchain Enabled Traceability for Food Supply Chains 

If you missed our TECHTalk at IPPE 2019, CAT Squared Marketing Manager Kathy Barbeire will give a 20-minute webinar on Blockchain Enabled Traceability, March 25, 2:00 PM CST. Kathy represents CAT Squared as a participant in a blockchain learning group that has grown out of Governor Asa Hutchinson's Blockchain for Arkansas (BC4AR), an initiative to support capacity building around blockchain technology. This webinar will cover select topics from these meetings.

The objectives for this presentation are to 

• Define what is blockchain,
• Discuss the business case for blockchain traceability for food processors,
• Provide a current overview of the blockchain landscape focusing on solutions being developed for food supply chains,
• Discuss the role of MES and ERP providers in this landscape, and
• Briefly touch on possible regulatory concerns.
