Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group Meeting

Please join us for the second meeting of the Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group hosted by the Energy Resources Center at the University of Illinois-Chicago and The Chicago Region Trees Initiative. The working group provides a forum to collaborate and share ideas, lessons learned, and other information to promote successful habitat development along rights-of-way. The working group welcomes interested individuals and organizations from the utility, transportation, non-profit, academic, and government sectors.

The meeting will provide networking opportunities, program and policy updates, technical presentations on habitat restoration, and small group breakout discussions. A morning coffee reception and lunch will be provided.

Detailed meeting agenda can be viewed here.

Note: Remote web and audio access will be provided for the morning sessions. Please indicate your intention to attend in-person or remotely when registering.

We have applied for qualifying continuing education units (CEUs) from the International Society of Arboriculture and the American Society of Landscape Architects. Certificates of completion will also be provided for those who wish to receive engineering professional development hours or apply towards other professional licensing requirements.

Online registration is no longer available for in-person attendees. If you are interested in attending, please contact Iris Caldwell at 312-355-1483 or iriscald@uic.edu.
