"From the Streets to the Stage" - A forum with Fredrick Davis

Fredrick Davis grew up with a dream to perform for the Dance Theater of Harlem. His struggles and successes are portrayed in a documentary being produced by WTCI. Please join WTCI, 100 Black Men of Chattanooga, President Erskine Oglesby and Fredrick Davis for a panel discussion and a performance by Ballet Tennessee as we celebrate his success and our children's dreams.

Guests will enjoy refreshments and the opportunity to meet Fredrick Davis, a principal at the Dance Theater of Harlem.  A round-table discussion will address the challenges and hardships of his early years growing up in the East Lake and the partnerships that supported his rise as an artist and as a leader.  Students from Ballet Tennessee will perform and Fredrick will talk about his ongoing commitment to the Dance Alive program that launched his dream.
