Seminar Outline:
This seminar is highly relevant to current social work practice. This seminar provides an overview on the etiology and symptoms of suicidal patients and empirically validated treatment. Social workers will learn how to identify at risk patients and clinical interventions to offer them alternatives or emergency care. The topic will cover research findings, and theory and practice issues that can be used immediately.
