Amateur and professional Bar "Chefs" are invited to join us at the
Tustin Community Foundation's "It's Tiki Time in T-Town" fundraiser
to show off their bartending and mixology skills for a great cause!
witThe Tustin Community Foundation directs charitable funds to the real, immediate and ever-changing needs of greater Tustin, primarily through the awarding of community grants to Tustin area nonprofit organizations and schools. Your participation in the Bar Chefs Gourmet will help generate the financial support necessary for the Foundation to award grants this November.
Friday, July 26th 5:30pm on our Hawaiian Island in Old Town Tustin
Professional and amateur mixologists invited to participate.
Admission to the Tiki Time in T-Town Luau for the participating bar chef and one guest is complimentary.
For those of you with a competitive edge, a $100 cash prize will be awarded for 1st place!
DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS JULY 20th
Instructions for Participating Bartenders and Mixologists:
- All cocktails should have a "Hawaiian" theme, if possible.
- Beverages containing alcohol and "virgin" cocktails without alcohol are accepted.
- All amateur mixologists must mix their drinks on-site and provide supply receipts to TCF as required by the OC Health Department. Professional entries can bring their beverages already made.
- Please note that your donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law as TCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
- TCF will provide a table cloth covered 6 foot table for you to share with another mixologist.
- TCF will provide a volunteer to help you serve, if desired.
- Be prepared to provide 100-150 guest "tastes" - 2 oz serving cups will be provided by TCF.
- Please bring an ice chest as refrigeration is not available. TCF will provide the ice.
- You must arrive no later than 4:30pm to receive instructions and set up pre-judging.
- Judging will take place until 7:00pm and winners will be announced at 7:30pm.
