How to keep your sanity during Covid -19: Mindfulness Tools for
Caregivers and Families

Webinar 3 of the
Developing Trauma-Informed Organizations Series

With Gizane Indart, Executive Director
&
Christa Grauert, Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant
and Child & Family Therapist

Mindfulness is the practice of focusing on the present moment and paying attention to each moment, non-judgmentally and with wonder. Mindfulness allows individuals to open up their sense of wonder and work on ways to manage a variety of life's stressors in an intentional way. Through the practice of mindfulness, one can learn techniques to clear their mind and see the bigger picture of different situations.

Within this webinar, we will break down how stress and trauma impact the brain, learn about the benefits of mindfulness, and practice many different mindfulness techniques. Like with any new tool, it takes time and practice is key. With just a little bit of mindfulness each day, overtime you will feel a decrease in stress and an improvement in your overall sense of well-being. I look forward to practicing together.
