Growing Growers ICT Workshop - Seedling Production & Crop Planning 

Learn the basics about producing your own seedlings for your farm and how to plan your crop production schedule to meet your farm goals. The workshop will consist of classroom instruction, hands on activities, and a farm tour. 

The workshop will start at the Atwater Neighborhood Resource Center multipurpose room, with 2-3 hours of classroom instruction and discussions, followed by a tour of 1-2 local farms to see their transplant production and crop planning in action. Limited transportation will be available for the farm tours. 

The book, The New Organic Grower, 3rd Edition, will be provided to each participant as part of a grant from the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Break snacks and drinks will be provided as part of the workshop.
