Growing Growers ICT - Crop Planning & Plant Propagation

Seed catalogs can feel like fantasy reading for growers. There’s so much exciting potential, but the choices can be overwhelming! How do you prepare a planting plan for your farm or garden? Do you know how to start one? In this workshop we’ll explore crop families and rotation, seasonality, planning for what you can sell or distribute, methods for starting seeds, and more. These “nitty gritty” details don’t just sort themselves out; join us to learn how you can tackle them with confidence.

This classroom portion is being offered as a hybrid event, both in person or online via Zoom.  You also have the option of viewing a recorded version at a later time.  The cost is $5.

A tour at Golden Prarie Farm will follow the lecture. It will be in person only (no virtual option) from appoximately 4:30-6:00pm. Danielle and Jerad are skilled farmers and crop planners - we hope you'll join us to learn from their expertise!
