Rhode Island Women in Science and Engineering (RIWISE) Networking Event 

RIWISE is a resource for networking, mentoring, and professional outreach for RI women in science and engineering including technical professionals, professors, k-12 teachers, and college students. Join us for our quarterly networking event!

There will be appetizers and a cash bar.  

In addition to networking, we will have a speaker at the event.

Holly Ridgeway is the Executive Vice President, Chief Security Officer for Citizen's Bank.  Holly has extensive experience in providing visionary leadership and innovation, while empowering the business strategy, balancing risk, privacy and compliance. For the past 20 years, Ms. Ridgeway has built enterprise security programs in both the commercial sector and the Federal government.  

Holly served as FireEye/Mandiant’s Director, Information Security Programs, and led Global Government and the Innovation Center.  She has served as the Chief Information Security Officer for PNC Financial Services Group, and the Department of Justice. In these roles, she led the organizations information security efforts with responsibility for leading all cyber program activities, including the creation of detection, monitoring, incident response, reporting and security services of the 24x7 PNC Fusion Center, and Department of Justice Security Operations Center.  She is credited with developing and implementing a highly successful real-time situational awareness program and has successfully led many large incident response efforts, including the Distributed Denial of Service attacks against the financial sector that occurred in 2012-13. 

In 2013, Holly was recognized by her peers and honored with Global CISO Top Ten Breakaway Thought Leader Award.  She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University Of Maryland, University College in the fields of Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management and Information Assurance.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management and a Master of Science in Computer Systems Management with a specialty in Information Assurance.  She holds two certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).  In addition, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA).
