Learning Collaborative

 Year 3 In-Person Opening Session

Understanding the Current State: Moving Beyond Screening to Tracking Remission and Reduction of Depression.

Participants will review rates for screening, understand the current landscape and commit to action steps for advancing integrated care for patients.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand opportunities for supporting the development of the workforce for integrated behavioral health in New Hampshire.
  •  Describe the measures utilized to quantify and monitor depression screening, substance use disorder screening, and for hypertension control.
  • Identify current rates for depression screening, substance use disorder screening, and hypertension control for the Accountable Care Learning Network.
  • Explain how a collaborative care team model can improve outcomes, increase patient and provider satisfaction, and be more cost-effective.

In preparation for the session: Bring your current BH screening workflows.

Guest Speaker - Dr. Anna Ratzliff


Dr. Ratzliff is a consulting psychiatrist for the Mental Health Integration Program at the University of Washington. Her clinical experience includes primary care consultation, women's mental health and mental health care for underserved populations. She also is an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, and trains resident psychiatrists at the school. 

She received her M.D./Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of California, Irvine, where she completed doctoral work in anatomy and neurobiology. Her research focused on mechanisms of epilepsy development after head injury. Dr. Ratzliff's academic pursuits include developing strategies to provide mental health education to members of integrated care teams, and studying the impact of integrated mental health care programs in special populations.
