Workshop 

Este taller está diseñado para ayudar a los participantes a crear espacios para reflexionar sobre nuestra configuración cultural como individuos e instituciones, comprender las dinámicas de poder en la sociedad que nos impactan, desarrollar las habilidades para interrumpir patrones antiguos y prácticas inequitativas que limitan el acceso y excluyen algunos personas de nuestras instituciones, crean confianza y comunicación clara y comienzan a comprender cómo tomar decisiones basadas en múltiples perspectivas donde todas las personas pueden ser escuchadas y representadas.

This workshop is designed to help participants create the spaces to be self-reflective about our cultural shaping as individuals and institutions, understand the power dynamics in society that impact us, develop the skills to interrupt old patterns and inequitable practices that limit access and exclude some people from our institutions, build trust and clear communication and begin to understand how to make decisions based on multiple perspectives where all people can be heard and represented.

Se ofrecen créditos de educación continua y desarrollo profesional:
Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training y su programa regional, Chicago Regional Organizing for Antiracism (Chicago ROAR), se asocia con Oakton Community College para ofrecer horas de educación continua para diversas profesiones con licencia a través del estado de IL (IDFPR) y horas de desarrollo profesional para maestros de IL a través de la Junta de Educación del Estado de IL (ISBE).

Para este taller se ofrecen 6.5 horas reloj de crédito de Educación Continua (CE) para las siguientes profesiones: trabajadores sociales, consejeros profesionales, psicólogos, terapeutas matrimoniales y familiares, enfermeras registradas, administradores de hogares de ancianos, terapeutas ocupacionales y logopedas.

Se ofrecen 6.5 horas de crédito de Desarrollo Profesional de ISBE (PD) para maestros de IL con una licencia de ISBE (IEIN).

Continuing Education and Professional Development credits offered:

Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training and its regional program, Chicago Regional Organizing for Antiracism (Chicago ROAR), partner with Oakton Community College to offer Continuing Education hours for various professions licensed through the state of IL (IDFPR) and Professional Development hours for IL teachers through the IL State Board of Education (ISBE).

6.5 clock hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit are offered for for this workshop  the following professions:  Social Workers, Professional Counselors, Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Registered Nurses, Nursing Home Administrators, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists.    

6.5 hours of ISBE Professional Development (PD) credit are offered for IL teachers with a ISBE license (IEIN).

NOTA: Para recibir los créditos de Educación Continua o Desarrollo Profesional, debe pagar la tarifa de mantenimiento de la solicitud y los registros de $ 40 cuando se registre para este taller. El costo anticipado para el taller es de $ 105.00 hasta el sábado 5 de octubre de 2019 a la medianoche. El costo total de la inscripción es de $ 125.00 hasta que se cierre el 26 de octubre de 2019 a la medianoche. La tarifa para el Crédito Profesional de Educación Continua es de $ 40.00. Se proporcionará almuerzo.

Costs: The early bird cost for the workshop is $105.00 until Saturday October 5th, 2019 at midnight. The full registration cost in $125.00 until registration closes on October 26, 2019 at midnight. The fee for Professional Continuing Education Credit is $40.00. Lunch will be provided.
