THANK YOU to Pauline Erices and the JCPHD for allowing CoAIMH to use your training space!
Join CoAIMH for this theatrical presentation (from Kaiser Permanente’s Care Equity Project) sharing real-life stories of people living with limited financial resources and the challenges they face in health service settings. The play raises awareness and sets the stage for discussion and educational workshops.
Kaiser Permanente’s Care Equity Project is a collaborative effort to assist community health care providers in improving health equities for families living with limited financial resources. Incorporated into this project are a variety of experiential activities and educational sessions that raise awareness, disseminate knowledge and develop skills to deepen an understanding of people who experience financial challenges.
The workshop content supports the Competencies associated with the Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health (IMH-E®). Thus, time spent at this workshop would count toward Training hours for IMH-E® or continuing education hours required for IMH-E® 2020 annual renewal.
