Healthy Boundaries 101 & 201 Training

A Sacred Trust Healthy Boundaries 101 & 201

Why Healthy Boundaries? As pastors, educators, and leaders in God's church we are called to the sacred trust of serving and nurturing others. It can be challenging to maintain this focus in a culture that often celebrates the absence of limits and boundaries. Lines and values can become blurred and trust destroyed. "Healthy Boundaries" training is for those new to, and experienced in, church ministry. Trained facilitators guide discussions on the challenges of power and vulnerability, internet technology, social media, finance, attraction, and self-care in ways that are relevant and encouraged dialogue among colleagues.

This one day workshop will better enable us to think through the importance of healthy boundaries, which give shape to our relationships within the faith community. We will be using materials from the FaithTrust Institute and workshops will be led by trained facilitators.

New Hope Presbytery requires all pastors and educators now actively serving, or who anticipate active service, to receive this training.

At the registration portal you will have the option to chooose the date you want to attend:

Healthy Boundaries 101 - Thursday, April 27 at FPC, Goldsboro or Saint Andrews, Raleigh (for those who have never taken the training, please click here  for the introduction letter.)

Healthy Boundaries 201 - Tuesday, May 2 at Howard Memorial, Tarboro and Saint Andrews, Raleigh (for those who have taken the training more than three years ago, please click here for the introduction letter.)

The training will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The cost is $20.00 and includes materials and lunch.
